Textile Innovators Club is a creative haven where young minds can explore the fascinating realm of textiles. This isn’t your typical workshop - this is a place where imagination and craftsmanship combine to create something extraordinary. If your child loves to design, create, and innovate, then this is the perfect academy for them! Our teachers are all enthusiastic, qualified and practicing Textile Designers / Artists.
TIC dives into techniques like knitting, fabric painting, embroidery, and garment customisation, allowing older students to refine their skills and create unique, wearable art.
We are all DBS checked and certified in first-aid.

Learn the Fundamental Techniques of Textile Design: From knitting, knotting and crocheting patterns to creative weaving and fabric printing, kids will learn awesome textile arts and techniques that will impress and inspire.
Fuel Artistic Expression: Our projects encourage students to push the boundaries of their creativity. They'll design and create their very own unique pieces that reflect their individual style and vision.
Learn from the Best: Our qualified instructors are all practising textile designers / textile artists with degrees from the UK’s top design schools. They are passionate about craft and creativity, and bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to every session, mentoring young artists to achieve their full potential.
Collaborate and Create: This academy is a fantastic way for kids to connect with like-minded peers, share ideas, and work together on exciting projects.

Fashion Accessories: Trendy scarves, hats, and bags designed and crafted by themselves.
Artistic Home Decor: Stylish wall hangings, pillows, and fabric art to brighten up any space.
Custom Clothing and Mending: From personalised T-shirts to tote bags, and more, using various techniques and methods, and exploring creative ways to mend their own clothes. We encourage sustainability.
Experimental Textiles: Explore new materials and methods to create one-of-a-kind textile art.

Nothing happens! We'll just try and pick up where we left it.
Just be aware that the Creative Textile Academy and Textile Innovator Club run for a whole term (11 sessions) and we can't issue a refund if a child misses a class or two.

We do not offer any snack or drinks for our Creative Textile Academy and Textile Innovators Club classes.
We do however encourage parents to make sure their children have had some nutrition, or bring some along. -
Rest easy—they’re as safe as a secret agent in a high-security bunker!
Our studio is totally off-limits to the general public while kids workshops are taking place, with a super-lockdown door that even James Bond would envy.
Our facilitators are not only fully DBS checked but also have a knack for charming even the trickiest kids.
At FTS, your little ones can let their hair down and dive into the fun without a worry in the world.
They’re in good hands, and it’s going to be a blast!
